Railroad Trading The trading name under which we sell North American Railroad Books by          Morning Sun, Benchmark, Heimburger House, Signature Press and other publishers, plus DVDs by SPV and SVS.

75D Railway Books The trading name under which we sell quality British Railway books by Capital Transport, Irwell Press, Lightmoor, Middleton Press, Noodle, Wild Swan and other publishers, together with Narrow Gauge, Overseas, Tramway, Bus, Maritime books and DVDs.

Based in Horsham, West Sussex we stock an ever increasing range of books and DVDs for the rail enthusiast and run by a long-time rail enthusiast who has been trading for over 12 years. Purchase from us either at one of the many exhibitions we attend throughout the South East or by mail order.                                                                                 

Horsham Rail History 75D: the one-time shed code for Horsham in BR steam days. The town's other claim to railway fame is that it was once the junction of the lines to Guildford and Steyning which closed in 1965 and 1966 respectively.

Locally based industrial designers Messrs Wilkes and Ashmore were apparently stylists for a number of BR diesel locomotives including the ubiquitous Class 47, 'Lion' and the Hymek- to name but three.

Additionally, the town is also probably one of the few rail centres to still retain its goods yard which nowadays is used as a stabling point for many permanent way vehicles.   

On a more general note In 2006 Horsham was only just beaten into first spot by Winchester as the best place to live in the UK.
